The
most comprehensive treatment for Eczema & Psoriasis
Understanding Eczema
The word eczema (also known as the itch
that rashes) describes certain kinds of dermatitis (inflamed
skin). Early eczema can be red, blistering, or oozing. Later
on, it can be scaly, brownish, or thickened. Almost always,
eczema itches.
Examples of eczema include:
- Atopic dermatitus (affects most parts of the body and can
be mild to severe)
- Contact dermatitis (chemical reaction with the skin)
- Seborrheic dermatitis (Normally found on the scalp)
- Nummular dermatitis.
(looks like small round coins)
- Infantile or baby eczema
(affects babies and small children)
- Varicose Eczema (affects the legs and feet only)
The
treatment for Eczema prescribed by dermatologists hasn’t
changed much in forty years, mainly because the pharmaceutical
companies haven't been able to develope a cure that is effective
in treating the cause and therefor they continue to treat the
symptoms. The reason for this is that with each patient the
causes or triggers vary, and as inflammation is always associated
with eczema a symptomatic approach is always adopted by prescribing
a course of cortisone or NSAID's. Cortisone
is no more than an anti-inflammatory which definitely helps
reduce the inflammation and itch but it only lasts for 3-4 days.
The injections last longer about 30 days, but in all these cases
whether it is cortisone
or steroids the side effects are horrific. Antihistamines have
very little effect.
Treating
Severe Eczema effectively:
DermaPhend is suitable for treating mild to severe eczema or
psoriasis. If your eczema is chronic it is almost guaranteed
that you have a more severe problem that needs to be identified
and treated first. In many cases eczema started off as a manageable
mild patch and with time spread to larger areas of the body
progressively getting worse. This can take years or even decades
and finally results in severe or chronic eczema.
Contrary
to what you may have been told by dermatologists, eczema can
be healed completely. As each case is different I have provided
certain criteria that you need to analyse and determine which
category you belong to. The road to recovery requires extreme
patience, hard work and basic common sense. Identify the category
that you fall into and then begin the road to recovery.
Eczema
is rarely a condition on it's own but rather an allergic or
toxic reaction to a problem that is being created elsewhere.
To effectively determine the cause, a process of ellimination
needs to be undertaken. Extreme patience is required as the
recovery period can vary from 2-9 months
If nothing on this list pertains to you,
then I suggest that you read through the intestinal
permeability problem section.
